Many people are saying that Grammar is not important anymore. In internet groups, people who can hardly write a grammatically correct sentence announce that they are planning to write / writing / have published a book. Many millennials (Y- generation) and centennials (Z- generation) cannot even write an essay. The pages of newspapers and online news sites are littered with grammatical mistakes.
